The Boston Celtics extended their impressive NBA Playoff run with a resounding 120-95 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of their second-round series.
Jaylen Brown led the way for Boston with 27 points, while Derrick White added 22 points, including six three-pointers. The Celtics connected on 50% of their shots from the field and held the Cavaliers to just 40% shooting.
The Celtics jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. They led by 15 points at halftime and pushed their advantage to 25 points in the third quarter.
The Cavaliers were led by Darius Garland's 24 points, but it was not enough to overcome the Celtics' dominance.
Game 2 of the series is set for Thursday in Cleveland.
